I have passed the way before never noticed this.
September 1745
Goltbridge Canter commenced near here when the Hanoverian Cavalry fled in panic from the approaching Jacobite Army.
There are lots of plaques around Edinburgh that you don’t know they are there .
This one is a Roseburn just beside a bridge.
