Hobbies

I am lucky that most of my hobbies are indoor ones. One of those hobbies is tinkering with electronics and coding.

This is a NodeMCU ESP8266 board (the thing on the white thing :-) ) It's driving a 4 relay board.

It doesn't really have any practical use apart from the fact that I enjoy coding all this stuff and making it work.

How on earth can kids be bored these days with all this awesome technology available to program for so little money?!?

It is quite astonishing - that NodeMCU thing is a full microcomputer with memory, I/O ports, WiFi capability and even an analogue to digital converter - all for about £5, programmable in a range of languages - C, Python, Basic...

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I am such a hit with the chicks :-)
