Heat

Brrrr! Awoke to negative numbers here in Maine. It was a day for staying inside and loading the wood stove. I am very thankful for the heat our fire provides and the cords of wood stacked in the basement.

Home duties were checked off the “to do” list today. Beds changed, duvet covers washed and replaced, throw rugs washed, laundry (seems like endless laundry) and grocery shopping.

We’re preparing for our first “real” storm Tuesday. 6-12 inches are expected for most of Maine. I know the snow-lovers are thrilled... but I’m a sun-lover and this storm is not exciting!
