Topsail Beach

This is the beach on the Intracoastal Waterway at Topsail Island. The waterway runs from New Jersey to Florida. If you have a fancy boat not big enough to venture into the ocean, you could conceivably take this route for the distance. The ocean is just a few hundred yards to the right of this image, near the south end of this 26 mile long barrier island.
