This is a photo I was Emailed from a friend.
Around the age of 17/18 I used to go caving in the Mendips and when I moved to Edinburgh we also used to venture deep into the under world of dis-used mines. I think it's fair to say I was always terrified.

This is taken at the caving club where, after hours of being submitted to total darkness save the light affixed to our helmets, we washed away the adventure with tankards of ales.

That's me, 3rd from the left, cuddling up on the sofa.
