A Sheltered House

In October my mum moved into Amenity Housing- not sheltered as she is wont to stress. This is a view of the communal garden looking towards the spire of Darvel Parish Church. I hope it will be a kind summer and that my mum will be able to sit out in warm sunshine.

Another cloudless spring day though it was misty when I left home. But as I headed south and the road climbed I broke through into clear sunshine- like a plane rising above the cloud level.

Later I went home by a circuitous route through a number of Ayrshire villages which were looking particularly well. This was also true of the many white farmhouses shining in the sun.
