Day 1 - One square metre challenge

It’ll be no problem to revisit this space over the course of February. This is where I make our morning coffee, a daily event. It’s a way station for things waiting to be put away in the cupboard above or in the drawers below, for frozen items to be left out to defrost before cooking. Salads are tossed and dressed, and sometimes cutlery is left to dry here. Being a next to the stove top, many utensils have graced this surface. This should be fun.
