The Hardy Tree

I can't believe I have never visited the fascinating St Pancras Old Church before.  This is an ash tree surrounded by a circle of headstones, moved by a young Thomas Hardy in his days as apprentice architect, to make way for the railway expansion.

Bitterly cold day but great to get out of the house and meet JQ for a quick walk around Kings Cross.
