Balgay Cemetery in the snow
A bright day after a fresh snowfall
Quite a bit happening today. First thing, my wife had an Optician appointment to check out some concern following the Cataract operation. Seems it is ok and should clear up soon.
After I picked her up we headed for the Well-being Centre (base for the Listening Service) to pick up a Gift in recognition, along with others in the NHS, of ‘hard work and dedication’ during the Pandemic. The gifts had been given by the prestigious House of Bruar and distributed by the NHS Care Foundation. Nice Biscuits, Cake and Chocolate. Much appreciated and I will enjoy.
The Cemetery is next to the Hospital and I thought it looked good in the snow.
In the afternoon, we went for our Vaccine jabs, very efficient organisation at the Surgery and quite painless. I am glad to have had it, but it won’t change my sticking to all the rules currently in force. It will sometime before restrictions will be eased, but it is a step in the right direction.
My pet hate at the moment is the Opposition politicians going on about the ‘mistakes’ of the Scottish Government in the roll out. It is actually the NHS doing a fantastic job of a massive task and doing it so well and so quickly. Rant over!
