MonoMonday: Low Key Animal(s)

Carolina is hosting MM this month, and today she would like low key shots of animal(s).

We don't have any pets and the neighbourhood cats, who often frequent our garden, must have got wind of the challenge as we only had the odd very fleeting visitor!

Anyway I looked under some stones at the back of the garden and found that's where the snails hide over the winter - these are the varmints who chomp through our veggies in the spring & summer! So here's a low key shot of them - along with a little woodlouse too.

Looks best large, to show the textures in the stone better.
