Not quite the first cuckoo, or daffodil, but the arrival of the NT Handbook and car-sticker was a sign that perhaps spring is not too far away.

Let's hope these lovely places are open, come summer. They are no use to me at present. The nearest site to my home is Dunham Massey, 20 miles away, and too far even if open.

Though if Boris can go to Scotland....
