Morning Walk

We went for a walk near Clandeboye  Estate and met this lovely swan. Gerald got talking to a guy who was fishing and they shared some stories, as fishermen do! He had just caught a small roach and it seemed very happy to be released back into the lake... But things got really exciting when we heard a woodpecker very close by! The sound was amazing in the still air. I've never heard one so loud before. We were accompanied by several robins for the remainder of our walk... Great way to spend a Monday morning!
