Gardening today

Bright and sunny although still very cold today. The first job of the year in the garden is to cut down last years sugar cane and so made a start in the afternoon sun. It was a bit big for the bin so had to cut the stems to get it in. 
As I was finishing the ever-curious robin who had been watching me from his tree came down to see if there was anything for him.
Nice to be out if only for a short time
