a very poor shot from a blackberry i know, but...

out at a bar tonight known as "the flying saucer", where it was announced the gentleman on the left has earned his fourteenth platter. some may be familiar, as this is a usa franchise, but for those who aren't:

200 different pints (of which they have more than), taken in at a 3 different pint/evening limit earns one a platter/plate/saucer, whatever it's called.

a quick run of the numbers means this guy has downed roughly 0.93 pints (his first platter was in 2001, let's assume he started in 2000) per day every day since the start of the new millenium at this very spot. almost one different drink (rotating between the same 200 or so of course) per night every day at the same building since the y2k scare.

and to think i'm averaging under 50% retention on the homestretch of my one year blip anniversary this month.
