Animal (sadly not alive)

The only live animal* I’ve been near today is Mr B (*not used in a derogatory sense). So for Mono Monday’s challenge I present to you an unexpected gift he received today, the Cotechino blipped.

G, accompanied by his lovely partner and baby, dropped this by today. He mentioned the Cotechino a while ago, but he’s a busy guy, working and has an expanding family, so didn’t have time to come by. He sent it up in the lift, then we talked with them on our mobiles, from the balcony!

“Modena or Cotechino di Modena is a fresh sausage made from pork, fatback, and pork rind, and comes from Modena, Italy”. So Mr B’s happy. I wanted to buy him one at the time, but was sold out everywhere on-line.

Just had an Asda delivery, all unpacked and put away. In other news, my friend J’s daughter, partner and 2 kids all caught Covid. The kids are fine and out of isolation, the daughter and her man are still unwell. So poor J, who is still working, has the 2 young kids staying with her, and on-line uni lectures to prepare and deliver.
