Left behind

The theme for MonoMonday is a low key image of an animal. We had to make an essential trip into town, and I kept an eye open for any animal. It was a dreary misty very wet morning, so I didn't see a single animal. I was hoping for a dog in a car, or that someone would be walking a dog, or that the donkeys would be in the field, or that the swans would be close enough to shore for me to get a photo of them. No luck! I did spot this forlorn little koala that was left behind at the park, so a quick stop for a shot that will have to do.
We had a good FaceTime chat with Beaches Doogie and Impy. So hard not to see them when they're only a short ferry trip and drive away.
Extra: driving into town, taken through the car window. I wasn't driving!  :-)
Furious to hear the story of a guy in Vancouver who had set up a "nightclub" in his penthouse. There had been several complaints about noise and the police finally got a warrant. 78 people partying all night in an 1100 sq.ft. penthouse, strippers, a menu for food being served, drinks for sale, not a mask in sight. Here's an article if you're interested in finding out how the host and guests are being punished.
Unbelievable! Here we and so many others are, taking every precaution, and these irresponsible disrespectful people are partying like it's 1999. Grrrrrr!!!!
