Things We Won't See For Awhile

The "big storm" is arriving as I post this - we've had a very easy winter by the usual standards. There's only been one storm over 6 inches so far this year and tonight the prediction is for 10-18 inches.  If that really does happen, it will be the last time Myles and I can take a walk in the woods for awhile, the last time we'll see this stone wall which is our property boundary and the last time we'll see the moss on the rocks for awhile.  But, then there's Punxsutawney Phil who comes out tomorrow and tells us if we're going to have an early spring or not.
