The Morning After

Big snowfall overnight which tailed off towards day's end. It is pretty and was so quiet. I liked the sense of depth from looking through these bent over trees into the wood beyond. I think they had already succumbed to the weight of the fallen tree before the snow.

Finding some kind of structure in the chaos seems to help make sense of the scene. And the curves and diagonals enliven otherwise static trees.

I darkened the centre a touch to help with recession and took the glare off some upward facing limbs.
