It's a snort

This is a low key mono of the beast clearing the roads tonight. It reminds me of "The Snort" from a book we used to read our boys when they were little.... 

"Are you my mother?" by P. D. Eastman tells the tale of a baby bird that hatches while his mother is out looking for food. He sets off to find her and on his way encounters a giant steam shovel. The machine terrifies the hatchling when it makes the "SNORT" sound from its exhaust but then it lifts him up and back into the nest just as his mother returns.  

You have to love a happy ending. 

The roads and drive are clear and tomorrow morning we will see how much snow we ended up with. Right now its about 14 inches.
