McCabe

For some new writing, I needed a photo of an old church, so we found the old McCabe Chapel, a few miles out of McMinnville. Here’s what the plaque on its side reads:

“Erected by volunteer labor in 1886, named for Bishop Charles C. McCabe, the singing chaplain of the Civil War.”

So he’s got that going for him.
