A Colossus Of Volcanoes

On This Day In History
1887: First Groundhog Day

Quote Of The Day
"I hated school. Even to this day, when I see a school bus it's just depressing to me. The poor little kids."
(Dolly Parton)

I'm rather proud of our volcano display. I had to do a little judicious editing to the blurb for Koko Head. Apparently, the Hawaiian name for  Koko Head is Kohelepelepe, meaning "fringed vulva," since the crater is actually the imprint of the flying vagina of Kapo, the Hawaiian goddess of fertility, from the time it landed as a lure to a pig god. So now you know.
