Pea-souper!

This was the view on the way to work this morning, freezing fog and lots of it.

I was dondering along the road, stopping to take photos every few seconds for suitable blips knowing that the haar wouldn't last as the forecast was saying it was supposed to be glorious sunshine and clear skies by 10am, and for once they were right.

Got to work and found 2 of my colleagues huddling in the cycle rack shelter bit as they couldn't get in the office. The lady who is usually there at the crack of dawn and who always opens up the office is on holiday this week and I had forgotten and so being a key holder I should have made sure I was there before 8 to let folk in.
It was about quarter past when I arrived and I felt extremely guilty cos they were perishing - whoops!

Was discussing my up and coming holidays with a workmate when I got in and then for the rest of the day I couldn't get into doing any work. Not that I didn't have anything to do as there was stuff piling up all round me but I just couldn't get my head round it and the day really dragged. Told him about it and he said he was feeling exactly the same so it's the last time we do exciting holiday chat at that time of the day :)

Went to the cinema again this evening as it's Orange Wednesday. We went to see 'I Give it a year' which is a bit of a comedy/chic flick and both me and OH really enjoyed it. There were a few laugh out loud moments which is always good and doesn't happen very often with me (miserable cow haha!)

Took some panoramic pics on the iphone through the big glass windows of the cinema of the docks round to Leith with the city behind which worked out quite well but once I uploaded them to the lappy there were a few reflections of the glass so I had to rule them out and settle on one of the dull, misty blips from first thing this morning.
