Tiny Tuesday - Multiples

This is one of those little squishy stress balls with eyes and multiple strands of stretchy hair bits!  I needed it today as we were blanketed in thick smoke for most of the day as the big fire to the north is still raging out of control!  This afternoon the ash was falling thick and fast for a while before the wind changed direction, scary!!

About 59 houses have been lost but so far no lives lost!  Strong winds are predicted for tonight which wont help at all but a super duper aerial tanker has been sent from the other side of the country to help all the smaller ones we already have here! It arrives in the morning so let’s hope that helps to bring it all under control!! The 250 firefighters on the fire ground deserve medals as they are working in extreme conditions!!

No new Covid cases reported today which is surprising but really good news!  Thousands more tests have been done and more investigation is underway into how the security guard became exposed! 

We’ve had a very quiet day at work, not one customer! Part of the lockdown is essential travel only and of course coming here isn't considered essential. I’m really ahead of myself with the end of the month paperwork and all sorts of other jobs that needed doing.  Here’s hoping we get through the week safe and sound and things get back to some normality fairly quickly!!

I’m suffering with a headache tonight and coughing! I’m pretty sure its just from the smoke and not the virus - so I’m off to bed early!! Catch up with you all tomorrow night ;o)x
