Sunshine!

At last - a brief interlude of sunshine!
We took the opportunity of a walk before the rain returns this evening.  Everywhere is very wet and/or muddy but at least the sun is shining and it is warm enough to do without hats & gloves.   Our son sent us an early morning not going out snow photograph from his balcony (in the extra)  Stuart works from home,  but his girlfriend has to get to one of the city's hospitals.  The last time it snowed they decided it was quicker to walk rather than join the chaos on the roads.

Along Brookhampton lane (on the edge of our village) the water treatment plant* is being updated, to allow for the new housing currently being built.   If you are really keen - it's a new sludge thickening tank and control kiosk!

* an excellent example of boring is good engineering :-)

Without a drone, this is probably the best view I'll get!
