A Winter’s Day

There is only one word to sum up today’s weather of  rain and wind - the good old Scottish word “dreich”.
 
So a walk around Stirling University was a cold and bleak affair.  The absence of student activity, with its empty buildings, just added to the bleakness of the day with most students now working from home.
 
For the second night running we abandoned television and watched webinars. Once we would have gone out and attended these meetings now  hosted as webinars.  Instead we sat in the comfort of our living rooms and listened. Is this the future?  is this the “new normal”?
