Aconite
One of those days where I'm glad I'm working inside. A cold day of sleet and snow showers. The snow does try to lie, but the temperature is just above zero, so it melts pretty quickly.
The sleet stops just as I leave for my lunchtime walk. In the park, I take the opportunity to explore an area that quickly turns to a field of nettles in the summer. In a corner I spot some yellow flowers in a corner. I later learn they are Aconite, a flower that appears in February. The rest of the walk is pretty dull and cold in comparison. Not much to photograph elsewhere, not much inspiration.
The afternoon is quite busy with work. It is followed with a bit of a walk, in a snow shower, then some cycling indoors as it turns to a whiteout. The cats aren't impressed by the weather, so the cat flap is closed early.
