Beaver dam

I know it looks like a pile of sticks but this was made by the beavers at Knapdale in Argyll which have been reintroduced to Scotland on a trial basis. I didn't see the animals but their effect as 'ecosystem engineers' is really dramatic. Would love to arrange a student trip here.
