I went to Ocean Terminal after work to meet my mum for coffee. I got half way there and got a text saying 'Am on Largos Hope having coffee with Aunt Janet, come join us'. Having never heard of Largos Hope I assumed that it was a new coffee shop or something in Ocean Terminal. Actually it's quite a large boat that's docked next to the Britannia. After coffee with my mum, Aunt Janet, Uncle Guy (who my mum had bumped into in the ship's book shop) we went on a tour of the ship. It was interesting to find out more about the ship and it's work. There is a crew of 300 self funding volunteers from 45 countries who work together to share knowledge, help and hope in the areas that it visits. It's in Edinburgh until Tuesday then at various ports around the UK for the next couple of months and worth going to see.
After the tour and another coffee we left Aunt Janet and Uncle Guy and went to move a fridge. It took a lot of effort and 6 people (not all at once) to move it as it was coming from Nic's flat on the 3rd floor to mine which is also on the 3rd floor. It's currently sitting in the middle of the kitchen to let it settle before moving the old fridge out and sorting it out tomorrow.
