A glimmer of sun through the clouds

It is windier today, and there was only a glimpse of the sun through the clouds as it rose. There are now white horses on the Sound, and the wind is whistling round the house. The wind is from the north-east and colder, not like the usual prevailing west/south-westerly winds we get off the Atlantic.
