Onwards and upwards....

2229. All Manual February 3

I decided to choose a bit more of a challenging subject today....so I thought I'd try this vase as it's very dark with several colours on it....
I used natural light this time and went for a 30 second exposure at f22 to ensure that all parts of it were in focus.  Focal length 62mm and ISO was set at 200. (Details for Rosemarie55!)

We bought this vase in the Kosta Boda factory in Sweden as I love their art glass.  I have a few pieces, some modern and some vintage most of which have been bought in Sweden.  I think this one is a second though as it has a few blemishes on the glass but I loved the design and the colours.

I've also added a couple of extras specifically for Snapper (or more specifically for her two lovely daughters who share my passion for Animal Crossing!)  I built a Pirate Ship on my island last night!

Had a chiropractor appointment first thing and was going to meet a photo club friend for a walk but she phoned me to say she'd rather wait for the better weather so no walk for me today as the weather is as bad as yesterday...a few snow flurries but mainly sleet.
