Warnings...

Yup, the forecast was for rain, and it was right! It's rained heavily all day. With warnings for ice and snow, and rain, just for good measure. If we're lucky it may stop raining for a while by the middle of next week!

Lockdown last spring, with reasonably good weather and lighter evenings, didn't seem so bad. Seems quite grim this time with such cold, gloomy weather. Never mind, spring is on its way. I believe I spotted a snowdrop flower (yes, just one as yet) pushing its way through the soil in a container in the 'yard...

A good afternoon to stay in the warmth of the kitchen and make a Nut and Vegetable Loaf from No Bones Jones' Festival Cookbook. Time consuming, but delicious and well worth the effort, and it will feed us for several days.
