Red!

Red; the colour of February & Valentine’s. Red; the Red-bellied Woodpecker that often comes to eat from my suet feeders.

When he wants to come to the feeders and there is too much other bird activity at them or the cats are near by, or maybe he thinks I’m too close, he will sit in one of the trees and loudly let his dissatisfaction be known!

I’m about to head out and take a trunk load (boot load) of stuff to the Salvation Army donation drop off and then heading over to get some empty boxes from Vic (Birgit’s husband) so I can put stuff in the garage.

Got some packing and moving to get started on this afternoon! It’s another cold day so keeping busy will be good.
