ASHURST

This small village sitting just inside the Kent border with East Sussex boasts an hourly (half-hourly in the peak periods) service to London Bridge.

Today the normally full car-park has just 3 cars. There would normally be a handful of passengers for each train. Today none.

The empty (and recently extended) platforms stand silent. The footbridge is original.
