St Paul's

I went to the city this evening to join some friends at a charity event in a fancy tapas bar - Hispania - so I had to stop my bicycle to blip the cathedral. The cyclamens of this morning's foray into the garden can wait for another day.

The charity is interesting. An Anglo-Spanish venture to raise money to fund research into cell-based therapies for cancer treatment. And an impressive presentation by one of the professors receiving funds to research the use of natural killer cells to do the job. And interesting because I have been looking at a different cell-therapy for potentially alleviating the consequences of (my) long term diabetes - one based on microvesicles. Also still an experimental therapy.
