Right lens for right subject?
Enjoyed the challenge posed by David Duchemin in his book "The Visual Toolbox' to scrap the limiting idea that a wide angle lens should only be used for landscapes. He states ' "It drives me crazy when I hear photographers telling each other that this lens is a "portrait lens" and that lens is a "landscape lens"....Lenses are about aesthetics, not applications..." So I took my wide angle lens and did some close up / macro photography with it. You really have to get very close!! Quite liked the outcome.
