Jam today

I bought a 2-kilo bag of clementines in the supermarket the other day and they turned out to be not only difficult peelers but mouth-puckeringly sour. So today I used most of them to make clementine jam. We have nearly run out of marmalade, so this will be a good substitute. Meanwhile guiri has been preserving lemons, sadly reminding me I only have half a lemon left in my last jar, made last January. How I miss our abundant lemon tree.

Other than that, another day in quasi-lockdown. The weather changed again; this morning windless and foggy, a little sunshine in the afternoon. I did go out but only to forage for pine cones.
