Signs of spring
It rained all morning and as it was so wet both Xena and I had to wear raincoats for our walk in the woods - she hates the rain! By the time I got back and had washed and dried Xena it was time for my zoom talk on 'hidden pathways and passages of London', which was such an interesting talk and it made me realise how much I am missing visiting London.
I had a booking to visit RHS Wisley as I wanted to see their snowdrops, but the outing was not very appealing in the rain - however shortly before I was due to go there it stopped raining and I was lucky to have a dry visit and even had a bit of sunshine. The snowdrops were wonderful, masses of them - also the crocuses are just starting to come out, the hellebores are looking lovely and I particularly liked the miniature irises as seen in the extra. Spring is definitely on the way!
Good news that Adam was vaccinated yesterday (Pfizer) - as their medical research lab is at the hospital they had to get vaccinated to keep the medical staff safe. More than 10 million people have now been vaccinated which is brilliant progress.
