Almond Blossom

Rudely awoken at 8.30 this morning - spanish delivery men being unseemingly early with the delivery of the new oven. A fair bit of scurrying to find clothes to greet them. I stayed in bed with tea!

This afternoon an inordinate amount of time on hold to the pru. By the time comms we’re established it was time for evening walks

A week ago the almond trees were bare, black and dead. If you didn’t know better you’d chop them down. Now, the countryside is dotted with little pale and dark pink orchards in full bloom. So pretty x
