"Embrace"

This is the title of the sculpture that stands outside the local supermarket.
It's by the Scottish artist Jephson Robb. It is meant to represent the welcome embrace the Giffnock community has to offer from the old to the young, from all faiths and cultures, and the unseen work that many volunteers and voluntary groups provide through the community.
To the locals it's known as the Donuts or the Bagels. There's even a bench for you to sit and admire the artwork then perhaps you may enter the supermarket to buy a bagel or a donut.
Kids love it in the summer.
