South Congress

Today was about relaxing so we headed to South Congress St for brunch and quirky shops and got the girlfriend some boots and enjoyed the sunshine. The evening spent at a great comedy club seeing the next generation of Austin stand up. This place is the origin of two great influences on my youth, Bill Hicks and Richard Linklater. The former was a great comedian who spent his formative years here. The later a great director who filmed some of his movies here. Notably Dazed and Confused.
