Dog day
Dog minding today on account of the dog walker (64 and fit) getting their Covid vaccine. Their partner who is quite a bit older and is vulnerable has had no invite. There is a logistics problem. And the politicising from all sides is disappointing.
So two longish walks today both of which took ages in freezing wet weather while Islay sniffed her way through Pollok Park, clockwise and then anticlockwise – widdershins and deasil even.
The best bit of the day was a chance to get a short and chilly catch up with L standing beside the open car door dropping off and then collecting Islay. Islay I thought was a bit off her biscuits, preferring to spend most of the time in the hallway. She was uninterested in my yoga which was even more challenging today involving half-moons. I just managed a quarter one, for a few seconds.
HF walking holiday in Glencoe for end March has been cancelled. Hoping to rebook for late April which actually suits me much better – weather should be more reliable. The March option was an irresistible bargain, and £20 more to transfer to April is a great offer.
