A Cut Above

We walked across the very muddy common to Latton Woods this afternoon. Ollie played with logs in a pond while I sheltered from the rain under a leaning tree trunk. As we emerged from the woods this horse seemed interested in us. I'm no judge of horseflesh but it looks to be a cut above the nags usually tethered overlooking the town.

As we left a nice sunset was brewing so I drove a slight detour to Lodge Farm on the way home to get a pic.
