Well used

This blanket was a wedding present from my Grandma. We nick named it the contraceptive blanket, as it was so heavy on the bed we couldn’t get near each other!  Over the years it has kept us warm in our first flat (an army married quarter which the storage heaters couldn’t warm) , been a play tent, a picnic blanket, wrapped poorly people on the sofa, been on many camping holidays, and is again on our bed as Mr H is always cold. 

It needs a couple of minor repairs which I will do this week and then hopefully we will get another 37 years of use out of it.
