skating on thin ice

Damp, cold day. Had a walk from Duddingston to Dunsapie loch via Jacob's ladder. Good exercise! Great views across to the east on the way up (extras). 
Apparently otters have been sighted at Dunsapie loch, but we weren't lucky enough to see any. Lots of wildfowl on Duddingston loch and pheasants in the undergrowth.
