Star Trails on Calton Hill

Met up with Clamb and 000 on Calton Hill after work. I got there just in time to catch the last of the sunset. Got some nice shots of the castle and Princes Street.

Once the sun went down, we played about with making light domes. That was a lot of fun. Hopefully we'll be doing more of this soon so I can post some pictures here.

In the end we decided to make the most of the clear skies and do star trails. Clamb used the observatory in the foreground of his shot, I decided on Nelson's Monument. You can see it large here.
