At mid tide

When I go down to Otterspool Prom, I usually head towards town. For several years it has been possible to walk all the way to the Albert Dock and the centre of Liverpool. Today, I chose to walk the other way- towards Gaston. But the path comes to a halt after about half a mile because of a private estate. Shame. At that point you have to retrace your tracks or head inland.
