Hopeful ewes....

thinking I've brought their food. The farmer wasn't far behind . There was another 8cms overnight, but walking was lovely, deep, soft snow , no wind and bright. Enjoyed a good walk for three hours and saw no one. There were Bullfinches, Goldfinches and Chaffinches in the hedgerows. The Rooks have gathered at their rookery and were pairing off. Also, heard Jays. Buzzards were nearby.
Thin snow off and on all day.
