A trunk on a trunk

It reminds me of the gigantic trunk protruding from a Berlin building that I blipped last year. But this one is coming out of a tree on a street in Point Richmond, a charming waterside community a few miles northwest of Berkeley. Tivoli will no doubt be able to identify what kind of imagined animal it belongs to.
