Quite a different blip for me today!  After it finally stopped raining, went to Carlisle for groceries stopping off at Bitts Park beforehand.  I was hoping to see if the early flowering Rhododendrons were out, but sadly they weren't.  I wasn't really surprised after all the recent frost we've had.  This time last year they were looking great.  After a short walk there, decided to follow a section of Hadrian's Wall footpath from the park which I haven't been along before... I don't know why.  It follows the river and I walked as far as this railway bridge before turning back.  Misty enjoyed all the different scents, so will have to explore further another time.
