Corrossion

When I did the smoke shots on 31st January I had to use to built in flash as the other flash that I had to hand didn't work. 

Today, I investigated why, the batteries had leaked. Having replaced the batteries and cleaned the contacts it still didn't work. Further cleaning on one of the internal and very difficult to get to contacts has restored operation.

Years ago when I was working in support I had the optimum tool for sorting this, a fibre glass brush, but that was over 25 years ago and I no longer have it. 

At least I am now ready to have some more  fun with smoke at the  weekend.
